Embassy Attestation
When planning to use your documents internationally, ensuring its acceptance and recognition is crucial.
Why is Embassy Attestation Required After The Apostille?
Apostille is a form of document legalization that applies only to countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention (1961). If the destination country is not a Hague Convention member, apostille alone is not sufficient.
Example of countries that require embassy attestation:
- Egypt
- Kuwait
- Lebanon
- Malaysia
- Qatar
- Thailand
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
- Vietnam
The process of our apostille service:
1) Submit your inquiry: Complete the inquiry form on our website or email us directly, specifying the type of document you need legalised and the country where it will be used.
2) Choose your service: Select your preferred apostille service option (Standard/Premium), along with solicitor certification, notarisation by notary public, embassy attestation, and your preferred postage method (DHL/Royal Mail).
3) Payment: We will email you an invoice, which can be paid securely via the provided link.
4) Send your documents: You could either drop the documents off during our office hours or post them to our London (Elephant and Castle) address. If posting, include the invoice reference in the envelope.
5) Legalisation process: Once received, we’ll arrange for solicitor certification or notarisation (if required), then submit the documents to the FCDO for legalisation or to obtain the apostille stamp.
6) Embassy Attestation: Once the document is apostilled, we will submit it to the respective country’s embassy or high commission in London for attestation.
