Apostille for Bank Statement
When planning to use your Bank Statement internationally, ensuring its acceptance and recognition is crucial. At 2E Apostille, we specialise in obtaining apostilles from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), making your Bank Statement legally valid for use abroad.
What is an Apostille?
An apostille is an official certification issued by the UK FCDO. It verifies the authenticity of your document, such as a Bank Statement, for use in foreign countries. This certification is essential for documents that need to be recognised by authorities outside the UK.
Why Do You Need an Apostille?
Without an apostille, your Bank Statement may not be accepted outside the UK. Whether you’re handling employment matters, legal proceedings, or personal affairs abroad, an apostille ensures your document is valid and acknowledged by international authorities.
Our Legalisation Process:
At 2E Apostille, we streamline the legalisation process for you. From document verification and submission to the retrieval of the apostille, our services are designed to meet international standards, ensuring that your documents are processed efficiently and correctly.
Please note that your Bank Statement must be certified by a UK solicitor or notary public before it is eligible for the apostille. You would need to print the original paper statements directly from your bank branch and obtain a wet ink stamp/seal/signature.
Please find the fees of our services below:
- Solicitor Certification: £25 per document
- Standard Apostille (3-5 working days): from £82 per document
- Premium Apostille (2 working days): from £130 per document
While solicitor certification is sufficient for most countries, certain destinations, such as Spain or the United States, require your Bank Statement to be notarised by a UK notary public before it can be apostilled. For these cases, please have the original paper statements posted to our office in London. Once received, we will arrange a video call verification with our notary public. The fee for the notarisation service starts from £120 for 1-month bank statement.
